In this world you get what you pay for more often than not -especially - e s p e c i a l l y when it comes to electronic, mechanized, or motorized items.
The PS3 is well worth $600 maybe even $700 MSRP, but to drop it to $500 is great imo. People that don't understand never will and thus will gripe.
This really is good news. I just might go ahead and grab my third system.

All three systems have something to offer the generational gamer like myself and I think this article gets to that point well considering their bold predictions 6 months prior. It's rare to find humble qualities in gamers and game sites these days. There is something on each system which deserves a second look. I love being a gamer and this is the best (and most interesting) time of my gamer life.

even though you don't think the price was cut deeply enough on the PS3, you do think that it's good for SNE to actually loosen up and respond to the base. Now if we get another drop by say next Spring (April) We'll inch closer to that sweet spot where the PS3 can concentrate more on GAMESW, GAMES, GAMES and forget about pricing and rumble and such. Look like all that will be in the past by next spring, and I wonder how consumers will respond to this drop? Well, it's a start.
